2. User Accounts

To access certain features of bidbata, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Platform Features

Bidding

Bartering

Users can exchange items or propose item-for-money trades. All barter agreements are binding once accepted by both parties.

Giveaways

Users can list items for free giveaway. Recipients are selected at the giver's discretion.

4. Credits System

bidbata uses a credit system for certain platform actions:

  • Credits can be purchased through our secure payment system
  • Credits are used for placing bids and Power Bids
  • Credits are non-refundable unless required by law
  • Credits have no expiration date

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • List prohibited or illegal items
  • Manipulate bidding processes
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Engage in fraudulent activities
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Spam or harass other users

6. Liability and Disclaimers

Bidbata is a technology platform that connects users for exchange of goods and services. Bidbata is not a party to the transaction and does not take ownership of goods exchanged. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the truth or accuracy of listings, or the ability of users to complete transactions.

7. Tax Responsibilities

Each user is solely responsible for determining, declaring, and remitting applicable taxes arising from their transactions. This includes but is not limited to income tax, sales tax, VAT, or any other applicable taxes based on your local jurisdiction.

Bidbata does not provide tax advice and recommends consulting with a qualified tax professional regarding your specific tax obligations.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. You may also close your account at any time through your account settings.
